Privacy

As a visitor to www.jtpedersen.net, particularly one who may elect to leave comments, you have a right to know how your information is treated.

It is simple.  When leaving a comment you are required to provide a name, an email address, and a web page if appropriate.  This helps me validate you’re not simply contributing spam, that you’re a real person.  The email address provides a means of retrieving your gravatar (picture placed beside your comment) if you use one, as well as giving me a way of responding to you via email if necessary.  Providing a web page is simply a means of helping others find you, if you want them to do so.

The information you provide is not distributed, sold, or otherwise made available to third parties.  It stays here. Period.

Of course, it wouldn’t be a privacy statement if I did not point out that it may be changed at any time, for any reason.  But, the intent will remain the same: Your privacy will be respected.
